David Haefner finishes 19th in NCAA Mideast Regional
David Haefner competed in the 3000-meter steeplechase Saturday night from the NCAA Mideast regionals Sunday, June 01, 2003 JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (June 1, 2003) - ETSU junior David Haefner (Hamburg, N.Y.) finished 19th in the 3000-meter steeplechase Saturday evening from the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Mideast Regional Championships hosted by Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. The top five finishers automatically qualified for the NCAA National Championships. Haefner finished sixth in the first heat with a time of 9:19.21. Carlos Arrizon of Louisiana Tech had the best time in Haefner's heat with a 9:09.52, while Dan Lincoln of Arkansas won the event with a time of 8:37.56. |
