KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (May 26, 2006) - Junior Anna Marie Ricciardi (Canfield, Ohio) finished off her season in stellar fashion on Friday, finishing 10th in the women's high jump competition at the NCAA Mid-East Regional Championships at Tom Black Track.  The junior cleared a career-best height of 5-9.25 (1.76m) for the top 10 finish in an elite field.

Alabama's Miruna Matoanu cruised to the win, topping out at 6-1.5 (1.87m), over four inches above the rest of the field.

Sprinter James Rainer (Alcoa, Tenn.) is also set to compete this evening, running in the 100-meter prelims, scheduled for Friday night.
