2019 Track & Field: Opened her season with the ETSU Track and Field Invitational (Jan. 11-12)…scored at the VMI Team Challenge (Jan. 26) with a 11.15m mark in the triple…continued her improvement in the triple jump with a fourth place finish at the Buccaneer Track and Field Invitational (Feb. 1-2)…scored for the Bucs in three events at the SoCon Indoor Championships (Feb. 23-24) with a third place finish in the triple (11.77m), fourth place finish in the DMR (12:28.72) and a fifth place finish in the 4x400 (3:59.27)…placed fifth at the HPU VertKlasse Meeting (Mar. 21-23) in the triple jump…scored in the triple jump at the SoCon Outdoors (April 27-28)…grabbed a personal best in the triple at the Mount Olive First Chance and Multi (May 10-11), leaping for a 12.00m mark...grabbed a spot on the Indoor All-Freshman Team.
2018 Track & Field: Redshirted during indoor season but competed in all seven possible outdoor meets ... Made her splash as a true freshman in the Southern Conference Outdoor Championships in Cullowhee, N.C., scoring individually in the 400m final with a 56.75 time to take home the bronze and six points ... Qualified for that 400m final with her personal best sprint time of 56.59 — second best among the competitors and tops among freshmen ... Was part of the record-breaking 4x400 relay team at the SoCon Outdoor Championships, winning the gold with a time of 3:45.67 to set the new program record previously set in 2009 ... Won her first individual event at the Catamount Classic, breaking the tape with a 57.82 time ... Also won the 4x400 relay at the same meet with a 3:54.69 combined time ... On the field side, Hill placed fifth in the triple jump with a PR of 11.31m at the High Point VertKlasse.
Prior to ETSU: Sprinted at Archer High School in Gwinnett County, Ga., for track and field head coach Byron Shells…Went to her first state championship in 2014 before running in the championships her senior year in 2017…Received the Tiger Award at Archer, which is the highest award an athlete can receive at the school.
