JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Jan. 10, 2020) — ETSU Triathlon Head Coach Janine Pleasant has announced the signing of Sadé Smith (Haymarket, Va.) who will join the Buccanneer Triathlon team next fall.
TEMPE, Ariz. (Nov. 16, 2018) – ETSU’s final race of the fall was the most prominent of the fall with another top-three finish in the USA Triathlon National Championship. Lane McDonald (South Bend, Ind.) took the top spot for the Bucs, she finished fourth overall with a time of 1:07:42.
Tempe, Ariz. (Nov. 16, 2019) – Erin Hendershot (Blacksburg, Va.) has been awarded the USA Triathlon Women's Varsity Triathlon Student-Athlete Scholarship as announced at the dinner on Friday night prior to the National Championship being held this afternoon. Hendershot was the lone Division I athlete granted the inaugural scholarship.
Tempe, Ariz. (Nov. 15, 2019) – The ETSU triathlon team is back on the course tomorrow to compete for the USA Triathlon Collegiate National Championship in Arizona. The race is hosted by Arizona State University and will begin at 3:30 EST.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Oct. 22, 2019) – ETSU triathlon’s Lane McDonald (South Bend, Ind.) was named to the East Regional Qualifier All-Region Team, the College Triathlon Coaches Association announced Monday afternoon. She placed third overall at the East Regional Qualifier on Saturday afternoon in Huddleston, Va.
Huddleston, Va. (Oct. 19, 2019) – The ETSU triathlon team was led by Lane McDonald (South Bend, Ind.) once again who placed third overall at the East Regional Qualifier on Saturday afternoon. The team finished second among five NCAA Division I institutions and fourth out of the 18 participating teams.
Huddleston, Va. (Oct. 18, 2019) – The ETSU triathlon team is back on the course tomorrow to fight for a spot in the USA Triathlon National Championship taking place in Arizona.
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Oct. 6, 2019) – ETSU’s triathlon team placed second in their second race of the season at the Tri at the Trump in North Carolina. The Bucs finished just two points behind Queens who took first place. Lane McDonald (South Bend, Ind.) completed the race with a time of 1:16:43, just 29 seconds behind the top spot.
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Oct. 4, 2019) – The ETSU triathlon team will be back in action on Sunday to compete in the Tri at the Trump race in North Carolina.
