JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 15, 2017) -- A change of schedule means a change of plans for ETSU’s women’s triathlon team. The Bucs were originally set to take part in the Anchor Splash Triathlon in Oak Ridge, Tenn. on Sunday, September 17. But that event was canceled. So ETSU will instead go to the Frantic Frog Age Group Triathlon in Scottsboro, Ala. on Saturday the 16th.

Naperville, Ill. (Sept. 4, 2017) -- ETSU’s Triathlon team opened its 2017 schedule by placing three athletes in the top 25 on Monday in the Central Regional Qualifier in suburban Chicago. Morgan James (Clovis, Cal.) was 10th, Annika Cotner (Muskegon, Mich.) 16th and Hope Zimmerman (Crown Point, Ind.) 25th.

(Aug. 22, 2017) – ETSU President Dr. Brian Noland announced Tuesday a transition plan for the leadership of the Buccaneers’ Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, as former ETSU football standout and current Senior Associate Athletic Director/Chief Operating Officer Scott Carter will assume the role of director of intercollegiate athletics in September.
SPARTANBURG, S.C. (July 6, 2017) – The Southern Conference released its 2016-17 academic honor roll on Thursday, and ETSU placed 193 student-athletes on the list. In total, a league-record 2,100 student-athletes from the 10 member institutions and 13 associate members earned the distinction.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 25, 2017) – ETSU women’s triathlon head coach Janine Pleasant announced Tuesday that the Buccaneers have signed four athletes to comprise the team’s 2017-18 recruiting class.
