Colorado Springs, Colo. (Sept. 26, 2018) -- USA Triathlon released its all-region awards Wednesday, and three Buccaneers earned kudos after top performances at the Beware The Bear qualifying event.
ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. (Sept. 14, 2018) -- On a wet and cool Sunday morning, the ETSU triathlon program made history by hosting its first-ever triathlon event Sept. 16 at Watauga Dam in nearby Elizabethton, Tenn.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 11, 2018) -- Since the ETSU triathlon program began competition in 2016, the Bucs have taken part in nine events in eight states. This weekend, they'll race at home for the first time. ETSU will be the host for the "Beware the Bear" triathlon on Sunday, September 16, at the Watauga Lake Boat Ramp near Elizabethton, about 20 miles from campus.
DUBLIN, Va. (Sept. 8, 2018) -- With its first-ever home event just around the corner, the ETSU triathlon team got in a tuneup at the season-opening Claytor Lake Sprint Triathlon on Saturday at Claytor Lake State park in southwest Virginia. On Saturday, three Bucs finished in the top four among female competitors, and four in the top eleven. Lane McDonald (South Bend, Ind.) was the top female finisher. Annika Cotner (Muskegon, Mich.) was 3rd, and Cameron Seeley (Blacksburg, Va.) was 4th.

(Sept. 7, 2018) -- The ETSU triathlon team opens what promises to be an eventful 2018 fall schedule at the Claytor Lake Triathlon, tomorrow at Claytor Lake State Park in Dublin, Va. It starts a busy September stretch for the Bucs, who will host the Beware the Bear sprint triathlon on September 16 at the Wautauga Dam Boat Ramp in Elizabethton, Tenn.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Aug. 29, 2018) -- With students returning to campus and classes starting earlier this week, the ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics held a Buccaneer Welcome event on Tuesday night inside Greene Stadium.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (August 17, 2018) -- Registration is now open to the public for the “Beware the Bear” age group sprint triathlon, hosted by ETSU, on Sunday, September 16. The “Beware the Bear” age group event is in conjunction with the NCAA Women’s Draft-Legal Triathlon -- also on September 16 – and will be staged on TVA-owned property between Wilbur Dam and Watauga Dam, about 20 miles from the ETSU campus. There are 100 spots available to the public.
