Langston pitched out of trouble through the first four innings, stranding five Bison runners, but Lipscomb put together five hits in the fifth and, aided by one ETSU error, claimed its first lead of the night.
Four more hits in the sixth and another costly ETSU error brought around four more Lipscomb runs, and the Bucs never threatened again.
Aughey and Moore each finished 3-for-4 with a run scored on the night, while the Bisons received a pair of three-hit performances from center fielder Casey Bond and first baseman Ryan Wilkins. Both Bond and Wilkins finished the night with two runs scored and two RBI as well.
Burnett entered the game in the fifth inning, and scattered five hits through the next five frames while striking out five Bucs and earning his second victory of the season. Langston struck out four in six innings of work, but falls to 6-3 after allowing nine runs on 13 hits.
With the threat of impending heavy rains for the remainder of the weekend, the series schedule has been changed. The two teams will now conclude their weekend series with a Saturday afternoon doubleheader. First pitch is scheduled for noon at
