(Feb. 9, 2007) - The Citadel Bulldogs scored seven runs in a two inning span Friday night, sending the Baseball Bucs to 13-6 season opening loss from Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park.

Right fielder Sonny Meade led off the frame with a single to right field, and first baseman Zach Brown followed with a homer over the right field wall, reclaiming the Bulldogs' two run advantage. Later in the inning, Shortstop Kyle Jordan converted Bryan Altman's triple into another Citadel run with a double down the left field line for a 5-2 lead.
