Tony Skole Winter Hitting Camp to be held Jan. 31-Feb. 1

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Dec. 16, 2014) – East Tennessee State University head baseball coach Tony Skole and his staff released information regarding the 2015 Buccaneer Winter Hitting Camp on Tuesday.

The two-day camp will be held Jan. 31-Feb. 1 inside the ETSU/MSHA Athletic Center (Mini Dome). On Saturday, the camp will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m., while Sunday’s camp runs from 1-4 p.m.

The cost for each camper is $130, and is open for children five years of age through high school seniors. Space is limited, so please call (423) 439-4496 to reserve a spot as soon as possible. Registration will take place on the lower floor of the west side of the Dome on Jan. 31.

Along with Coach Skole, instruction will be given by ETSU assistant coaches, Xan Barksdale and Chris Gordon.

"Once again, we are excited to host our 2015 Winter Hitting Camp,” said coach Skole. “This is such a great opportunity for young hitters to get a head start on their upcoming baseball season. This camp will allow you to get in a ton of quality work in just two days. Every year we look forward to this event and it looks like we are going to have another great turnout again."

ETSU opens the 2015 campaign on Feb. 13 when the Bucs host Eastern Kentucky at Thomas Stadium. To purchase season tickets for the upcoming season, call the ETSU ticket office at (423) 439-3878 or visit
