A Message From ETSU Athletic Director Scott Carter
A Message From ETSU Athletic Director Scott Carter

On behalf of our head coaches and athletic department staff I want to speak from my heart.

Our ETSU Family is heartbroken and in search for words, answers and a way forward during this time in our country’s history. Actions of hatred and violence in our country have gone on for far too long and cannot be tolerated. Unfortunately, these are not new problems and so many in our family have dealt with social injustice as part of their daily lives just because of their skin color.

I do not come to you with answers, but with an open heart that wants to listen to you and learn about how together we can make a difference. Your ETSU Family cares about you, and our values stand for diversity, justice, unity and change. Your voice and perspective are critical. I encourage you to share your feelings. Please utilize my email: [email protected] or the ETSU resources listed below to share anything on your heart.
