High School: Summey lettered in all four of his seasons as a Golden Raider for head coach Steve Dixon ... He also lettered four seasons in football and was all-district in 2002 ... Following that season, he was named to the district All-Tournament Team, to the All-Northeast Tennessee Team and was a TBCA Worth Showcase selection ... As a senior, Summey went 8-4 with a 1.64 ERA, striking out 116 batters in 70 innings while walking just 20 ...
