All-Region selection after recording a 9-1 mark with a 2.23 ERA as a senior... posted a 5-1 record with a 1.43 ERA and 48 strikeouts in 42 innings pitched as a junior in leading the Eagles to a 19-9 mark and the state playoffs... summer baseball highlights include going 4-0 with four saves and a 1.78 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 31.1 innings pitched for the East Cobb Yankees that won the 2003 Connie Mack World Championship... named the Most Valuable Pitcher for the 2002 East Cobb A’s and earned a spot on the 2002 USSSA National All-Tournament team.  Personal: Born April 3, 1986... majoring in arts and sciences… son of Charlie and Pam Sheffield.
