2011 Season: Started all 57 games for the Bucs while hitting .311 with 15 home runs, 10 doubles and 57 RBIs...Competed in the TD Ameritrade College Home Run Derby in Omaha...Received American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-South Region First-Team honors...In his first game as a Buc against Marist (2/18), had a double and a home run, while driving in three runs in the victory...Also had a clutch performance as he hit a three-run game-winning home run against Tennessee Tech (3/16)...Also hit the game-winning home run against Rider (2/26).
Prior to ETSU: Transferred from Walters State Community College where he was coached by Ken Campbell … batted .433 with 20 doubles, 13 home runs, 65 RBI, and scored 60 runs in 2010 … hit .374 as a freshman, with 14 doubles, 23 home runs, and 67 RBI earning him All-TJCCAA and First-Team All-TBR honors.
High School: A four-year letter winner from Daniel Boone High School, was named first-team TBCA All-State his junior and senior years, Big 9 Conference Player of the Year, and Northeast Tennessee Player of the Year by the Bristol Herald Courier … holds the Daniel Boone High School record for homeruns, RBIs, batting average, walk and slugging percentage for both single-season and career.
