2013 Season
Earned Slugger All-America accolades, while also being tabbed second team All-Atlantic Sun … led the Buccaneers in nearly every offensive category, and was one of 25 players placed on the watch list for the John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Award … led the Bucs in batting average (.335), hits (80), doubles (18), triples (4), home runs (10), RBI (57), and slugging percentage (.569) ... on the mound, the left-hander went 7-1 with a 3.04 ERA (19 ER/56.1 IP) and eight saves in 25 appearances (three starts) ... in 22 relief appearances, the southpaw went 6-0 with a 0.65 ERA (3 ER/41.1 IP) and converted on all eight of his save opportunities … those numbers also placed him among the conference leaders as the Jonesborough, Tenn. native ranked second in slugging percentage, tied for second in home runs, ranked third in RBI, tied for third in triples, tied for fourth in doubles, tied for sixth in hits, and ranked ninth in batting average … furthermore, his eight saves were the second-most by an A-Sun closer, while he tied for league lead in games finished at 21 … also landed Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week and Atlantic Sun Player of the Week honors after hitting .800 (8-10) with a double, triple, three home runs, five RBIs, seven runs scored and three walks (two intentional), along with recording an astonishing 2.000 slugging percentage and .846 on-base percentage in the opening weekend series win vs. Penn State … meanwhile, Freeman also made a pair of relief appearances on the weekend as the left-handed hurler struck out three and earned a save in 1.1 innings of work against the Nitany Lions … played in all 60 games, making 54 starts at first and six as a designated hitter … recorded a pair of four-hit games (vs. Penn State, Feb. 16 and at UNC Asheville, March 13) … drove in six runs at Northern Kentucky on April 6 and had two multi-homer games (vs. Penn State, Feb. 15 and vs. Seton Hall, Feb. 22) ... finished with 22 multi-hit games and a team-leading 16 multi-RBI contests ... hit safely in 10 straight games from Feb. 26-March 17.

2012 Season
Started all 55 games for the Bucs, while also making 18 appearances (two starts) on the mound … led ETSU in batting average (.365), hits (81), doubles (14), and RBIs (50) … among Atlantic Sun leaders, tied for second in hits, ranked fourth in average and RBIs, sixth in slugging percentage (.550), and tied for 10th in home runs (7) … ranked 65th in the country in batting average and 89th in RBIs per game (0.91) … reached base safely in 40 consecutive games from 3/2-5/6, while posting the longest hitting streak on the team with 11 straight games with at least one hit … posted 18 multi-hit games and drove in two or more runs in 13 contests … generated at least one RBI in five straight games from 3/11-3/17 … recorded back-to-back three-hit games against LaSalle (3/11) and Furman (3/13) … registered three doubles and drove in four runs against LaSalle … was 2-for-4 with a triple, home run and three RBI versus Belmont (3/17) … ended the season with three straight 2-hit games, while driving in a season-high four runs at Kennesaw State to end the season … also drove in four runs against Mercer (4/21) … earned the win by tossing two innings of run ball against Saint Joseph’s on Feb. 26 … struck out a season-high six batters in his first start of the year versus Eastern Kentucky (2/18) … didn’t allow an earned run in seven appearances.

2011 Season
Played outfield for the Bucs in 16 games, while making nine starts...Hit .222 in 36 at-bats with three doubles and a home run...Also pitched 39 innings, while posting a 3-3 record and striking out 31...Had a big game in a victory against NCAA Tournament participant Manhattan (5/1) by going 2-for-4 at the plate with a home run...Received Atlantic Sun All-Academic honors.
Prior to ETSU
A four-year letter winner from Crockett High School where he was coached by Scott Hagy … hit .466 in 2009 with eight home runs, 17 doubles, 37 RBI, and 36 runs scored … finished with a 7-3 record his junior year, posting a 3.78 ERA while striking out 83 batters in 57.1 innings of work … earned Johnson City Press Super-22 Team … also played for Team Tennessee in the prestigious Sun Belt Series.
