2017 Season
Played and started all 59 games, all of which were at shortstop and 55 of which from the leadoff spot (other four where from the two-hole) ... Had the second highest batting average and ranked ninth in the conference with a .350 mark ... Led the Bucs in AB's (260), runs (62), hits (91), doubles (22), total bases (143) and stolen bases (19 of 22) ... His 22 doubles, 143 total bases and 62 runs led the entire conference, while his 91 hits trailed in second ... Ended season with an 11-game hitting streak and 14 consecutive games of reaching base safely ... Led the team with four games of four hits or more, doing so against Central Michigan, Florida A&M, William & Mary and Appalachian State.

2016 Season
Drafted by the Pirates in the 30th round (915th overall) ... Season shorted due to injury ... Played and started in nine games ... Batted a .351 while totaling 13 hits ... Connected with three triples for an average of one triple for every three games ... Cook recorded five RBIs and scored seven times ... Swiped a pair of bases for the Blue and Gold ... Had a season best game against Northern Kentucky on Feb. 28 where Cook went 4-for-5 with four runs scored ... Ended his season with a seven game hit streak.

2015 Season
Played and started all 55 games ... Cook had two, 12 game-hitting streaks from March 15-April 2 and April 21-May 9 ... Had a four hit game against Miami (Ohio) with two doubles and two singles ... During his first 12 game-hitting streak, Cook had 26 hits with eight being extra base hits ... Saw split time at third and short ... Cook pitched in four games with his longest puting coming against Furman with 3.1 innings of work ... He finished the season with a 1.42 ERA in 6.1 innings ... Offensively, he finished the season with a 0.338 batting average with 77 hits, 12 doubles, and 40 RBIs.

2014 Season
Named to the A-Sun All-Freshman Team ... started 47 games for the Blue and Gold in his rookie campaign … posted ETSU’s longest hit streak of the season by hitting safely in 16 straight games from 4/9-5/7 … recorded 11 multi-hit and three multi-RBI games … ranked 39th nationally with five triples … ranked second on the team in runs (39) and walks (19) … started all 47 games at third base, while also making two appearances on the mound … made collegiate debut vs. Longwood on Feb. 17, while also posting his first hit against the Lancers … had the walk-off hit in ETSU’s 6-5 win over North Florida on April 11 … belted first collegiate home run vs. Radford on April 23 … had a pair of 3-hit games – vs. Northern Kentucky (3/28) and vs. Kennesaw State (5/21).

Prior to ETSU
A multisport athlete from Dobyns-Bennett … Lettered in both football and baseball … Helped guide D-B to consecutive Big 8 Conference and Region 1-AAA titles ... Over his last two seasons, hit over .440 with 29 doubles, seven triples, 10 home runs, 100 runs scored, and 66 RBI, which led to the two-way player receiving back-to-back first team all-conference accolades ... In 2012, Cook was named the District 1-AAA Most Valuable Player as he led D-B to the district tournament title ... As a pitcher, the 6-foot, 1-inch, 185-pound right-hander went 6-3 with a 2.35 ERA for the Tribe.

Born Aug. 31, 1994 … Son of Donnie and Sandra Cook … has yet to declare a major … Father Donnie was inducted into the ETSU Hall of Fame back in 2002 as he was an All-American football player for the Bucs from 1979-82.
