2015 Season
Earned SoCon Player of the Month for the month of February...two-time SoCon Player of the Week...Louisville Slugger Player of the Week...placed on the midseason Golden Spikes Award watch list...earned first team College Sports Madness All-SoCon and second team All-SoCon honors...ABCA/Rawlings All-Region member...SoCon Academic Honor Roll...started and played 56 games...led team in batting average (0.355), triples (6), on-base percentage (0.437), and slugging percentage (0.611)...second on team in home runs (9), RBIs (51), and stolen bases (18)...started the 2015 season with an 11-game hitting streak...in first three games, York tallied seven hits with six RBIs...knocked three home runs in his first two games with six RBIs...had 25 multi-hit games...had three games in a row with three hits each game...belted two triples against USC Upstate on Feb. 22.
2014 Season
Played in 55 games, making 53 starts at second base … registered 12 multi-hit games and hit safely in nine straight games from 4/13-5/2 … posted a career-high three-hit games vs. Mercer (5/15) and Kennesaw State (5/21) … blasted his first collegiate home run vs. Eastern Kentucky (3/5) … drove in a career best three runs against North Florida (4/13), while scoring three runs vs. Longwood (2/17) and Kennesaw State (5/21).
2013 Season
Played in 22 games, making 15 starts (eight at second, five at third, and two as a designated hitter) in his first season in the Blue and Gold … registered his first collegiate hit on Feb. 17 vs. Penn State – going 1-for-3 with a double, walk and two RBI against the Nittany Lions … drove in a pair of runs at North Florida on March 28 … went 2-for-3 with a double, triple, and an RBI vs. Lipscomb on April 12 … also, went 2-for-2 with two walks and two runs scored against the Bisons on April 14.
Prior to ETSU
Four-year letterwinner under head coach Jack Tate at Bearden High School in Knoxville … named First Team Prep Extra and First Team All-District in 2011 and 2012 … tabbed District Offensive Player of the Year and Team MVP in 2012, while being named Defensive Player of the Year in 2010 and 2011 … set the school record with a .494 batting average in 2012, along with registering 67 hits – eight home runs and six triples … drove in 43 runs as a senior, while slugging .860 … hit .380 with 39 hits – four triples and two home runs – in his junior season.
