2016 Season
Saw the most action out of the bullpen for the Bucs...Appeared in 31 games including one start against Radford...In his lone start, Taylor went three innings while recording two strikeouts and only surrendering three hits...Had a team leading five saves in 2016...Tallied a 3.43 strikeout to walk ratio...Finished the last ten appearances strong as he only surrendered four runs while sporting a 2.70 ERA...In that same span, Taylor limited batters to a .213 batting average while striking out 11.

2015 Season
Appeared in eight games with one start...hurled five innings vs. Samford on April 17...surrendered four hits with two runs against the Bulldogs...on May 8, Taylor struck out four batters in three innings of work against the Citadel

Atlantic Sun All-Academic member … made 11 appearances (two starts) in his rookie season with the Buccaneers … made first collegiate appearance on Feb. 19 vs. Wofford and first collegiate start on April 1 vs. Radford … tossed seven strong innings, while taking a no-hitter into the fifth inning against the Highlanders … pitched four innings of one-run ball in a start at Appalachian State on April 30. 

Prior to ETSU
Four-year letterwinner at Dobyns-Bennett High School … two-time All-Big 8 First Team selection (2011 and 2012), while also being selected First Team All-Region as a junior and senior … named to the Johnson City Press Super 22 Team in 2011 and 2012, and played in the TN-VA FCA All-Star  Game in 2012 … posted a career record of 23-1 for the Indians … went 9-0 with a 2.08 ERA, while recording 49 strikeouts in his senior season … at the plate, hit .408 with 29 RBIs, 37 runs scored, and a .510 on-base  percentage in 2012.

Son of Tim and Sarah Taylor … born June 26, 1994 … plans to major in physical therapy … his cousin, Bo Burton, played at ETSU from 2008-11.
