2015 Season
Earned College Sports Madness second team All-SoCon and SoCon Player of the Week in March...started and played 56 games at first base...led the team in homers (10), doubles (21), and RBIs (55)...had 21 multi-hit games...tallied four hits at Morehead State on March 17...had a home run and three singles with three RBIs and three runs scored against the Eagles...belted two homers at VMI on April 10...had three four RBI games at USC Upstate on Feb. 22, vs Miami (Ohio) on March 13, and vs Morehead State on March 31...had five games with two extra-base hits

2014 Season
Played in 47 games, making 39 starts (30 DH/ 9 at first base) … totaled 10 multi-hit and nine multi-RBI games … tied a career high with a 3-hit game vs. USC Upstate (5/2) … posted four straight multi-hit games from 4/26-5/2 … ranked third on the team with 33 RBI … recorded three games with three RBI – vs. The Citadel (4/9), vs. Furman (5/7) and vs. Mercer (5/15).   

2013 Season
Atlantic Sun All-Academic member … Named to A-Sun All-Freshman Team … registered first collegiate hit vs. Penn State on Feb. 16 and belted first collegiate home run at Northern Kentucky on April 7 … went 2-for-5 with a double home run, and a career high five RBI in the win over the Norse … went 2-for-3 with three RBI vs. Florida Gulf Coast (March 23) … helped generate ETSU’s comeback win over Mercer in the A-Sun Tournament as his solo home run in the eighth inning tied the game at three … was a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs scored in the comeback win at Appalachian State on April 30.

Prior to ETSU
Lettered in both baseball and football at University City High School in St. Louis, Mo. … is a versatile slugger who spent most of his time at catcher for University City High School, but could play a number of positions … was named Third-Team Post Dispatch All-Metro after hitting .500 with seven home runs and 26 RBIs, while being named Suburban South Conference Player of the Year … led the conference in batting average, home runs, runs scored (35), slugging percentage (.845), on-base percentage (.611) and walks (21) … was named 2011 Underclass Honorable Mention by Perfect Game … was a starter since his freshman year, and led the Lions with a .410 average, 25 hits, six doubles, three triples, two home runs, and 18 RBI in his freshman campaign … the following year, he hit .359 with a .518 on-base percentage and 19 RBIs and was named 2010 Underclass Honorable Mention by Perfect Game.

Personal
Son of Derrick and Mary Phillips … born Oct. 15, 1993 … plans to major in business … his brother Derrick Phillips Jr. was drafted by the Washington Nationals in 2008 and played three seasons in the minor leagues for the Nationals and one year for the Elizabethton Twins.
