2023 (Senior): Appeared in five games, all out of the bullpen ...Had his best outing of the season against a previously undefeated Appalachian State team, handing the Mountaineers their first loss in a 5-0 shutout victory ... Pitched 3.1 innings of that shutout with just one hit allowed, but nothing else with no walks and four strikeouts ... Also did not allow any earned runs against then-nationally ranked Virginia Tech over 2.1 innings ... ... Totaled 7.1 innings ... Posted an 0-1 record and 7.36 ERA ... Nine strikeouts on the season.

2022 (Junior): Appeared in 16 games, all out of the bullpen ... Tossed 25.2 innings, held a 2-1 record with one save and a 5.26 ERA, striking out 31 batters while walking just 11 ... Started the season hot, tossing 1.2 innings of relief and striking out five batters against Northern Kentucky (2/20) ... Had three outings of going three innings: Tennessee Tech (3/19), George Washington (3/27), and Clemson (4/20) ... Among those outings, Hickman allowed just four earned runs, striking out 10 and walking two ... Recorded his first save with a scoreless ninth, striking out the side against Winthrop (3/6) ... Earned both wins in conference play, a two-inning relief win against Western Carolina (4/10) and a similar outing against VMI (4/24) ... Allowed less than two earned runs in 13 of his 16 appearances ... Didn't allow a walk in his final four outings and five of his last six.

Prior to ETSU: Spent two seasons at Walters State Community College where he primarily saw action out of the bullpen ... Finished the 2021 season with a 3-1 record with four saves, 39.2 innings pitched, and 56 strikeouts compared to 16 walks ... Finished fifth on the team in innings pitched, third in K/9 with 12.71 (min. 30 innings pitched), and first in saves, accounting for four of the 10 saves over the season ... Part of the Walters State pitching staff that had a team ERA of 3.92 and made it to the JUCO World Series.
