Casey Mae Riley joined the East Tennessee State University’s Baseball staff in December 2021 as Director of Player Operations, a role she was promoted to after working the 2020-2021 season as a volunteer intern and stretch coach.
Riley earned an Associates Degree in Sport and Leisure Management from Pellissippi State Community College from 2018-2020. She then transferred to East Tennessee State University in January of 2021 where she started volunteering for ETSU Athletics and interning with the baseball team.
Riley will graduate with her Bachelors in Sport Management with Dual Minors in Coaching and Dance in December 2022. Riley is currently enrolled in the Accelerated Bachelors to Master (ABM) program and will complete her Masters Degree in Sport Management in December 2023.
In her time serving as Director of Player Operations, Riley organized travel schedule and plans. She scheduled hotels, buses, and plane tickets for away games. Riley has helped coaches with baseball recruiting tours and recruit information. She has helped with game day operations such as bat testing, on field events, pre-game meals, camera set up, and sales. Riley has worked several Joe Pennucci Summer Baseball Camps as a coach for players 5-13 years of age.
Casey Mae Riley is looking to pursue a career in baseball operations and player development soon following the completion of her Masters Degree.
