Former Buccaneer Debuts With Los Angeles Xtreme of the Newly Formed XFL

Johnson City, Tenn. -- Curtis Eason, former football stand-out and Jacksonville, Fla. native, returned to professional football Saturday, as a member of the Los Angeles Xtreme of the newly formed XFL.

Eason played at East Tennessee State from 1994-97. During his collegiate career he recorded 261 tackles including eight sacks. Following his college career, Eason was drafted in 1998 by the San Francisco 49ers and later released. He then played professionally in the NFL Europe and with the Orlando Rage of the Arena Football League.

In his first game with the Xtreme, Eason recorded three solo tackles in a 15-13 loss to the San Francisco Demons.
