JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Aug. 28, 2014) – ETSU football head coach Carl Torbush and his staff announced Thursday that they will be hosting the second annual Carl Torbush’s Women’s Football 101 Clinic inside the ETSU/MSHA Athletics Center on Saturday, Sept. 13.

The clinic begins with registration and a continental breakfast at 8:15 a.m., and will end at noon with a skills session. Throughout the morning, those in attendance will learn about all aspects of the game such as: offense, defense, special teams, rules, equipment, and strength and conditioning.

Following the clinic schedule, there will be a short skills session that will allow ladies to participate in some football-related activities. Anyone wishing to participate in that skills session should wear appropriate work-out attire.

The clinic costs $20 per person in advance, and $25 at the door, while ETSU faculty/staff may attend for just $10 and students are free with a valid ID. Every participant will receive an ETSU Football t-shirt and be entered to win door prizes. Child care will also be provided free of charge on campus by Little Bucs. Mothers wishing to utilize this service must make that request prior to Wednesday, Sept. 10.
