JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 1, 2015) – The ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics released details Wednesday regarding the upcoming Mountain State Health Alliance Blue-Gold Spring Game which is schedule for Saturday, April 11th at 2 p.m., inside Kermit Tipton Stadium.
Gates will open at noon with admission to the game and parking free to the public. In addition, a special “Buc Walk” to welcome the team to the field is scheduled for 1 p.m. The game, which will be formatted as a traditional intra-squad scrimmage, will have the feel of a fall game day according to ETSU’s Senior Associate Athletic Director/COO Scott Carter.
“We want this to be an opportunity for our fans – and even our staff – to see what the environment and experience will be for our games this fall,” Carter said. “And we are so pleased to have the support of Mountain States Health Alliance, because it’s these partnerships with local businesses and supporters that really make a difference for our program. We expect this game to be a great opportunity to get a sneak peak at what the future holds for us all.”
