Football athletes in grades 9-12 welcome to participate

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 15, 2015) – Dates for the Carl Torbush Friday Night Lights Camp have been announced which includes sessions June 5 inside the ETSU/MSHA Athletics Center and July 17 at the Johnny Long Training Academy in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The camps are offered for football athletes in grades 9–12. Online registration is $30 and can be accessed here, while walkup registration is $35. Please note that the camps are only open to those who are scheduled for 2016-19 high school graduation.

On both days, walkup camp registration will begin at 5 p.m., while camp activities will start at 6:30. Campers will participate in combine training and instruction, agility training and skill work, individual position instruction, and one-on-one coaching. Additionally, participants are encouraged to bring turf shoes, cleats, and helmets, while quarterbacks are permitted to bring their own football.

A signature from parents/guardians will be required on a medical waiver form before campers will be cleared for participation. Furthermore, parents and coaches are encouraged to attend the camps to observe.
