With Gold section seats now sold out, fans are encouraged to order season tickets before May 26 priority deadline

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (May 11, 2015) – The ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced Monday that Gold section seating inside Kermit Tipton Stadium for the upcoming 2015 football season is sold out. In addition, the program also released information Monday regarding the purchase of season parking passes.

This announcement comes 15 days before the program’s May 26 priority deadline for purchasing season tickets and being part of the Priority Point seat selection draft which will occur in mid-June. While fans who purchase tickets before May 26 will have the “first pick” of  seats inside Kermit Tipton Stadium, ETSU officials were quick to point out that season ticket sales will be on-going throughout the summer months leading up to the first game on Sept. 3 against Kennesaw State.

“We are extremely grateful for the excitement our fans have shown for ETSU football, and their commitment is evident in today’s announcement that our Gold section is already sold out,” said ETSU Senior Associate Athletic Director/COO Scott Carter. “With just over two weeks before we reach our priority deadline, we thought it was important to remind people of the high demand for these tickets and that they need to act now to have the opportunity to secure the best possible seats at Kermit Tipton Stadium.

“While season tickets will be on sale throughout the summer, purchasing by May 26 allows people to be part of the first group as we go through this seat selection process.”

As for parking passes, the program released information regarding the application process, stressing that fans must first purchase their season tickets before securing the right to purchase a season parking pass. The number of passes a fan is eligible for will be directly related to the number of season tickets they purchase for the season, as well as the size and type of vehicle they will be bringing to the stadium.
