JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 23, 2015) – The NCAA released its latest FCS statistical rankings report on Tuesday and ETSU football ranked among the national leaders in several team and individual player categories. 

As a team, the Bucs lead all FCS teams in fewest penalty yards per game (21.3), while Domenique Williams (Charlotte, N.C.) and Austin Herink (Cleveland, Tenn.) place in the top-10 in individual player rankings. Williams ranks seventh in combined return yards (277) and Herink is eighth in completion percentage (70.0). 

Below is a full breakdown of ETSU’s individual player and team rankings in FCS play.

Combined Return Yards – 7th (277 yards)

Kickoff Returns – 37th (23.1 yards per return) 


Fewest Penalty Yards per Game – 1st (21.3)

3rd Down Conversion Percentage – 27th (45.7)

Red Zone Offense – 39th (88.9%)
