(June 11, 2019) – Just five days after finding himself on the HERO Sports Preseason All-American First Team, Nasir Player (Columbia, S.C.) lands on yet another FCS Preseason All-American squad in the Athlon Sports’ 2019 Preseason FCS All-America Team. Player is the lone Southern Conference representative on the All-American team.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (June 6, 2019) – Three Buccaneers landed on the HERO Sports Preseason All-American teams as announced by HERO Sports earlier this afternoon. Defensive lineman Nasir Player (Columbia, S.C.) was placed on the first team, while both Quay Holmes (Powder Springs, Ga.) and Tyree Robinson (Gainesville, Ga.) landed on the second team.

(June 3, 2019) – ETSU Football Head Coach Randy Sanders has announced the signing of a pair of transfer quarterbacks, Chance Thrasher (Coastal Carolina) and Cade Weldon (Univ. of Miami (Fla.)).
