2019 (R-Senior): Named to the SoCon Honor Roll … Garnered a spot on the 2019 Fall Academic All-Conference squad…Tabbed to the Coaches First Team All-SoCon … Named Preseason All-SoCon Second Team Offense … Appeared and started in all 12 games for the Bucs … Finished his career with 47 games played and 47 career starts … Played in a team-high 757 snaps of the possible 760 snaps … Moved from left guard to center for his final season … Graded out at 98.3% in his 757 snaps … Finished the season with a team-high 59 knock downs … Aided the Bucs in totaling nine 100-yard rushing games, four 200-yard contests and one 400-yard rushing game … Blocked for Quay Holmes’ program-record 255-yard rushing game in the home finale as ETSU defeated Mercer, 38-33.

2018 (R-Junior): Named to the SoCon Honor Roll … Appeared and started in all 12 games for the Buccaneers … Blackmon’s blocking duties helped pave the way for nine 100-yard rushing games, including four contests of over 200 yards on the ground … Blocked for a season-best six touchdowns against Gardner-Webb (Oct. 6) as well as four rushing touchdowns against Western Carolina (Oct. 27).

2017 (R-Sophomore): Named to the SoCon Honor Roll … Started all 11 games for the Blue and Gold … Blackmon’s blocking duties helped the Bucs post a pair of two-touchdown rushing games – wins over Mercer and VMI … Helped block for Austin Herink to break the single-game passing record of 434 yards at Furman on Sept. 30.

2016 (R-Freshman): Named to the Southern Conference Honor Roll … started all 11 games for the Blue and Gold at left guard. The Newberry, S.C. native played 730 total snaps, while grading out at 77 percent for the season – including a season-best 83 percent in the win over Western Carolina at Bristol Motor Speedway. Blackmon totaled 35 knockdowns, while recording six against Western Carolina and five versus Furman. Blackmon’s blocking duties helped ETSU total three 200-plus yard rushing games – including a season-high 323 yards in the win over West Virginia Wesleyan. 

2015 (Freshman): SoCon Academic Honor Roll member … Started at right guard in season-opener vs. Kennesaw State (Sept. 3) … Missed remainder of the season with an injury.

High School: Was a three-sport athlete at Newberry High School, lettering for three seasons in football, while also playing for the baseball and swimming teams … Was an all-county, all-region and all-midlands selection … Had 32 knockdown blocks and 19 pancake blocks his senior season … Was also his school’s most valuable swimmer.

Personal: Son of Will and Leah Blackmon … Born Nov. 15, 1996 … Major is physical education/exercise science … Played for high school coach Phil Strickland.
