Bucs can wrap up share of A-Sun title Saturday
Friday, February 16, 2007

KENNESAW, Ga. (Feb. 17, 2007) -- With a two-game lead in Atlantic Sun Conference play and just three games left on the 2006-07 schedule, the ETSU men's basketball team will be looking to wrap up at least a share of the A-Sun championship on Saturday when they face Kennesaw State at the KSU Convocation Center.

Tip time is set for 7:30 p.m. and the game will be aired live via ETSUBucs.com's live video streaming link.

The Bucs, who have won 11 of their last 12 games, hope to turnaround some recent struggles, which have seen them stumble in three of their last four games despite finishing that stretch with a 3-1 record. In those games, the Bucs had to overcome a late deficit against Gardner-Webb, they lost to Jacksonville to break a 10-game winning streak, and they had to battle through a poor shooting night to best UNF -- a team without a win in league play this season.

Nonetheless, with the General Shale Brick Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Basketball Championship just two weeks away, the Bucs still must play well the rest of the way to wrap up the No. 1 seed in the tournament and prepare for a run at the NCAA Tournament.
