NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 27, 2007) -- Coming off a victory over rival Belmont Friday night, the ETSU men's basketball puts its two-game lead in the Atlantic Sun Conference standings on the line Saturday inside Allen Arena against Lipscomb. The Bucs and Bisons will tip at 5 p.m. (EST), and the game will be available on live video streaming at ETSUBucs.com.
ETSU won in overtime for the fourth time this season, dropping Belmont 80-70 to pick up the program's 1,100th win all-time Friday night. The Bucs got a career night from senior Eryk Thomas (Fremont, Calif.), who picked up his second straight double-double and grabbed a career high 19 rebounds, which also set a Curb Event Center record. Senior forward Brad Nuckles (Council, Va.) also stood out again, picking up his fifth straight double-double, while sophomore guard Courtney Pigram (Memphis) scored a team high 18 points.
Currently, Lipscomb and Belmont trail the Bucs by two games in the league standings.
