ETSU men to meet Temple in first round of inaugural event Nov. 14

            JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 17, 2008) - When the ETSU men's basketball team opens its 2008-09 season Nov. 14-16 at the Charleston Classic inside the new Carolina First Center in Charleston, S.C., the Buccaneers hope to take their fans with them.

            Ticket information and hotel reservations are now available on-line at both ETSUBucs.com and at CharlestonClassic.com. Tickets are not available through the ETSU ticket office and must be ordered by calling the Carolina First Center box office at 843-953-2632. Tickets are $150 for all sessions, $90 for ETSU only sessions, and $30 per individual session.

            As for accommodations, the Buccaneer Athletic Scholarship Association has partnered with Holiday Inn Patriots Point as the official hotel of ETSU fans during the weekend. To make reservations, fans can call 843-884-6000. Ask for the special ETSU Fan Tour group rate. Reservations must be made by Oct. 15.

            The Buccaneers will play three games during the event, opening Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. against Big East foe Temple.
