Basketball tip-off event is presented by Johnson City Honda

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 17, 2022) – As we approach the start of the basketball season, the ETSU Athletics Department announced information on “Buc Madness,” a preseason tip-off event, on Monday, Oct. 24 inside Brooks Gym.

The annual event, presented by Johnson City Honda, is free and open to the general public, starting at 7 p.m.

Below are the details of what to expect during the event.

• Meet the Bucs
• 3-point shootout
• Dunk contest
• Half-court money shot (cash prize courtesy of Johnson City Honda)

The Buccaneer women host Mars Hill in an exhibition on Thursday, Nov. 3 in Brooks Gym, and the men take on Limestone in preseason tune up on Friday, Nov. 4 inside Freedom Hall. Both games tip off at 7 p.m.
