Deadline to renew season tickets is July 31 

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (May 8, 2023) -- The East Tennessee State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics released information on Monday regarding men’s and women’s basketball season ticket renewals for the upcoming 2023-2024 season.

To renew your season tickets, please log into your season ticket holder account by visiting ETSUTickets.com. During the renewal process, season ticket holders have the option to purchase additional season tickets. “On the heels of a historic run for ETSU women’s basketball, we are excited to begin promoting season tickets for next season,” said head coach Brenda Mock Brown. “I was speaking with some of our season ticket holders and donors at a private event recently about the desire to welcome more regular supporters into our program. The logical first step is becoming a season ticket holder for women’s basketball. Those individuals are highly valued and so meaningful in our pursuit of winning the Southern Conference and creating a championship culture. Our team loves seeing the familiar faces of our season ticket holders week to week, and the courtside access is one of the best in all of college women’s basketball. I want the Johnson City community to continue getting to know our team and staff, and what you’ll find in joining our program is that you are part of something special. Our goal for this season is to break women’s basketball attendance records and lead all Southern Conference programs in season ticket sales.”

The priority deadline to renew season tickets is July 31. Orders made by then will assure fans of retaining their existing seats. Fans also interested in relocating or adding seats may put in a request with the ticket office, along with their order prior to the July 31 deadline.

The women’s team is coming off a historical season where ETSU won a program-record 25 games in Coach Mock’s first season with the Blue & Gold. The Bucs had one of the largest season-to-season turnarounds in NCAA history with a 19-win increase from 2021-22 to 2022-23. ETSU won 13 non-conference games – the most in single-season program history – and advanced to the semifinals of the Southern Conference Tournament. The Bucs then made their eighth postseason appearance as ETSU finished third in the Women’s Basketball Invitational (WBI) with its first postseason season wins since 1995.

The men have a familiar face back on the sidelines as Brooks Savage – a Buccaneer assistant coach from 2015-2020 – was named the 19th head coach in program history on March 20. Savage spent the last three seasons under head coach Steve Forbes at Wake Forest. During Savage’s time as an assistant with the Blue & Gold, ETSU won over 75 percent of its games – going 130-43 – while capturing two SoCon regular season championships and two tournament titles. The 130 victories were the most over a five-year run in school history, while the Bucs won 71 conference games during that stint, resulting in a .789-win percentage.
