About Kanayo: A player with tremendous offensive prowess, having connected on 63 three-pointers during his sophomore year at Longwood University ...  equally impressive as a leader and has a strong interest in community service. 2017-18: Came off the bench to score five critical points late in the win over Mercer (1/24) ... had eight points in 20 minutes of action in the win over VMI (1/13) ... set a personal best for points (13), field goals (4) and 3-pointers (3) in the win over Tusculum (12/28) ... for the second time this year, matched his then career high with three 3-pointers made, finishing with nine points in the loss to Troy (11/22) ... had a career high for 3-pointers (3) and points (11), while picking up his first career assist and steal in the win over Delaware State (11/20) ... scored seven points in the loss to Kentucky (11/17) ... had his first career start but played minimal minutes after leaving with an injury against Savannah State (11/13) ... debuted in an ETSU uniform against Northern Kentucky (11/10), scoring 10 points while going 7-fo-8 at the foul line. 2016-17: Due to NCAA transfer rules, Obi-Rapu sat out the season and will have two years of eligibility remaining with the Bucs beginning with the 2017-18 season. Prior to ETSU: Having played his prep basketball at New Garden Friends School, Obi-Rapu saw the court immediately at Longwood, starting in five games his freshman year and ultimately seeing action in 33 contests.
