About Patrick

A sharp-shooting guard who made a name for himself at nearby David Crockett High School in Jonesborough, Tenn. … went on to be a major contributor for the Appalachian State Mountaineers as a true freshman before transferring to ETSU over the summer of 2017 … expected to provide athleticism and depth to the Bucs’ perimeter when he becomes eligible in 2018.

2019-20 Season

Named to the Southern Conference Honor Roll … Graduated with his undergraduate degree in Sport Management in May 2020 … Scored 24 of his game-high 26 points in the second half to lead the comeback win over Western Carolina (2/29) ... scored 24 of the Bucs’ final 30 points, including 17 in the final 4:16, while netting the game-winning three-pointer with 7.5 seconds remaining vs. the Catamounts … The Johnson City native outscored Western Carolina 17-10 during that run as well as 24-19 in the final 7-minutes, 55-seconds … Good made seven of his last nine threes in that final 8-minute stretch … Scored 13 second-half points in win vs. Furman (2/19) ... Also tied a career-high with six rebounds vs. the Paladins ... had 14 points (6-6 at free throw line) at VMI (2/15) ... Scored a team-high 12 points with a season-high seven made free throws and tied career high with 36 minutes vs. VMI (1/11) ... Led the Bucs with 12 points -- all in the second half -- knocking down four of the Bucs’ five three-pointers in win over Wofford (1/1) ... scored a game-high 19 points on 6-of-12 shooting (five made threes) in win at  LSU (12/18) ... set a season-high five assists and tied career-high with four steals vs. Milligan (12/15) ... finished with 16 points on 5-of-11 shooting from three, including hitting three clutch triples in the second half vs. Southern Utah (11/24) ... scored a team-high 24 points on 8-of-10 shooting (7-9 from three) in win at UT-Martin (11/9) ... Posted 10 points, five rebounds and two steals in season-opening win over Newberry (11/6).

 

2018-19 Season

Earned third team all-SoCon honors by the league coaches … Named to the  SoCon Honor Roll … Played in 32 games, making 31 starts … Set the single-game three-point record with 11 made threes at Western Carolina on Jan.  26 … Named SoCon Player of the Week following his record-breaking performance in Cullowhee … Tallied 18 points on five made threes in the win over The Citadel (2/14) ... scored a game-high 18 points with four rebounds and two steals vs. Wofford (2/7) ... Went 7-of-7 at the free throw line with 13 points at Chattanooga (2/2) ... scored a game-high 27 points (22 in second half) in win at Samford (1/31) ... broke the ETSU single-game three-point record with 11 triples at Western Carolina (1/26) ... Also, set career highs in points (35) and field goals made (12) against the Catamounts ... finished with 13 points and netted a career-high four free throws in the win at Mercer (1/12) ... scored 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting at The Citadel (1/10) ... posted four three-pointers in win over Furman (12/29) ... knocked down four threes and finished with 14 points in the win over UT Martin (12/8) ... Had 17 points on 4-of-6 shooting from beyond the arc at Wofford (12/1) ... Made two crucial 3-pointers late in the game, finishing with 13 points on the night in a win over Georgia Southern (11/27) ... had another quality game with 14 points and two assists in the win over Chicago State (11/19) ... scored 14 points, including a pair of 3-pointers late in the game that sparked the Bucs’ rally, in a win over Winthrop (11/17) ... 2017-18  Season

Due to NCAA transfer rules, Good sat out the season and will have three years of eligibility remaining with the Bucs beginning in 2018-19. 

Prior to ETSU

Played in 29 games as a freshman at Appalachian State, averaging seven points and 22.6 minutes per contest … shot 41 percent from the 3-point range and 42 percent from the field, while averaging 1.6 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game in 2016-17 … he enjoyed an outstanding prep career in which he was named a three-time Upper East Tennessee Player of the Year at David Crockett High School … for his career, Good amassed 2,716 points (Crockett’s all-time leading scorer), 780 assists (Crockett’s all-time assist record), 428 steals and 558 rebounds … Good finished his career shooting 51.4 percent from the field, including an impressive 40.0 percent from three-point range and 77.4 percent from the charity stripe.
