2018-19 Season
Earned third team all-SoCon honors via the coaches and media … Tabbed MVP of the Sun Bowl after averaging 12.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists, while shooting 67 percent from the field (10-15) in wins over Wyoming and Norfolk State … Played in 29 games (27 starts), while missing four games in November due to injury … Scored in double figures 15 times … Posted his first collegiate double-double after finishing with a career-high 26 points and 12 rebounds on Feb. 21 … Also held Bubba Parham – the league’s leading scorer - to zero field goals and two points … Ended the regular season with a 20-point, 7-rebound, 4-assist, 3-block and 2-steal performance in the win over Western Carolina on March 2 … Was instrumental in the Bucs’ win over The Citadel on Feb. 14 as he finished with 18 points, eight rebounds and a career-high six assists, while going 8-of-12 from the field and 2-of-3 three from beyond the arc.
2017-18 Season
Named SoCon Freshman of the Year by the league’s coaches and an All-Freshman Team pick by both the coaches and media ... scored 12 points and matched his season high with three blocks in the first round win over Chattanooga (3/3) in the SoCon Tournament ... had a nice outing in the loss to The Citadel (2/20), scoring 17 points and dishing out a season high five assists ... enjoyed a strong game in the win over Western Carolina (2/17), scoring 17 points on 6-of-7 shooting and swiping a career high three steals ... scored 19 points and set career highs for rebounds (9) and free throws (9) in the win over The Citadel (1/29) ... missed the Mercer game (1/24) with a leg injury and is listed as day-to-day ... netted 16 points in the win over VMI (1/13) ... scored nine points and grabbed four rebounds in the win over UNCG (1/11) ... had a solid game at Samford (1/4), scoring 13 points and connecting on a career high two 3-pointers ... returned from injury to score 12 points and match his season high for steals (2) in the win over Mercer (12/31) ... missed the Tusculum (12/28) game with a bone bruise and is listed as day-to-day ... scored a game high 18 points in the win over Hiwassee (12/10), putting together a remarkable 113-second stretch where he had 13 points, four dunks two layups, two steals and a free throw ... produced another strong outing, scoring 14 points and collecting a career high three blocks in the win over Northern Kentucky (12/6) ... had his best game as a Buc in the win over Fordham (11/29), collecting career highs for points (20) and rebounds (8) ... set his then personal best as a Buccaneer with nine points and 26 minutes of play in the win over Fort Wayne (11/27) ... had his best game as a Buc so far, setting personal bests for points (8), assists (3), blocks (1) and steals (2) in the win over Delaware State (11/21) ... made his ETSU debut in the loss to Northern Kentucky (11/10), scoring six points and grabbing seven rebounds in 23 minutes of action.
Prior to ETSU: The back-to-back 2016 and 2017 Class AA Mr. Basketball in the state of Tennessee out of Maplewood High School, Bo was the first signee in ETSU’s 2017-18 recruiting class … a first-team all-district, all-region and all-state selection during both his senior and junior campaigns, he averaged 26.3 points, 14.2 rebounds, 4.3 steals, 3.0 blocks and 7.3 assists per game his senior season for head coach Ty Wilson … he led his high school team to a 2017 state championship and was named the TSSAA State Tournament MVP ... he finished his high school career with over 2,000 points, 1,800 rebounds, 300 blocked shots, 500 steals and 700 assists ... played AAU basketball for the Tennessee Legends and was coached by his father Bo Hodges, Sr.
