Prior to ETSU: Competed in cross country and track and field at the University of Illinois in 2017 and 2018 before transferring to Tennessee in 2019. 

2019 CROSS COUNTRY AT TENNESSEE

  • Competed in five meets during his first cross country season at Tennessee
  • Tabbed his fastest 8K of the season with a time of 25:11.9 at the SEC Championships (11/1)
  • Led the Vols at the Cavalier Classic (9/14), placing 30th overall with a time of 25:29.5 over the 8K course
  • Opened the season with a fourth place finish at the Tennessee Tri-Star Cross Country Challenge (8/30), clocking a time of 21:15.24.

2019 TRACK & FIELD AT TENNESSEE

Indoor

  • Won his heat in the 3K at the Tiger Paw Invite with a season-best clocking of 8:39.06
  • Ran his first college indoor mile at Clemson, finishing 19th in 4:21.33 
  • Made his indoor in-uniform debut at the Hokie Invitational, placing 17th in the 3000m with a mark of 8:48.61

2018 CROSS COUNTRY AT ILLINOIS

  • Redshirted the season, did not compete

2018 TRACK & FIELD AT ILLINOIS

Indoor

  • Redshirted the season, competed unattached

Outdoor

  • Earned a runner-up finish in the 3,000m steeplechase at the Illinois Twilight, turning in a mark of 9:32.21
  • Ran a 1:58.93 in the 800m to place 12th at the Illinois Twilight
  • Made his college track debut at the SIU Bill Cornell Spring Classic, finishing 11th in the 1500m with a time of 4:00.77

2017 CROSS COUNTRY AT ILLINOIS

  • Took part in the Louisville Classic with a college-best 8K time of 24:51.0
  • Debuted at the Walt Crawford Dual on Sept. 1, 2017 - completing the 4.97-mile course in 26:14.4
