Johnson City, Tenn. -- East Tennessee State senior Chris Wisler (Dover, Del.) earned Golfweek Preseason All-America honors it was announced in the September 16, 2000 issue.
The two-time All-American, earned eight top-20 finishes last season including an individual title at the Bell South Intercollegiate. He tied for eighth at the 1999 NCAA Championships.
This summer Wisler won the Porter Cup and tied for 17th at the Sunnehanna Amateur. He finished second in this falls opening tournament, the Bank of Tennessee/The Ridges Intercollegiate (Sept. 9-10).
The other preseason All-Americans were: Bryce Molder (Georgia Tech), Luke Donald (Northwestern), Paul Casey (Arizona State), Lucas Glover (Clemson), Jeff Quinney (Arizona State), Andy Sanders (Houston), D.J. Trahan (Clemson), Ricky Barnes (Arizona) and Kyle Thompson (South Carolina).
Wisler and the Bucs return to action in the Tennessee Tournament of Champions from Sept. 18-19.
