JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Dec. 5, 2007) - ETSU men's golf coach Fred Warren announced on Wednesday that he has received national letters of intent from two players for the 2008-09 season. Michael Stewart (Ayrshire, Scotland) and Devin Komline (Manchester, Vermont) will join a team that already possesses a great deal of talent and has spent the last three seasons ranked consistently in the nation's Top 20.

Stewart is a member of the Scottish Boys Team and was also a member of the six-man Great Britain and Ireland Boys Team in 2007. Stewart will continue ETSU's tradition of recruiting some of the best players out of Great Britain & Ireland.

Meanwhile, Komline was the 2006 runner-up in both the New England Golf Championship and the Vermont States. An accomplished left-handed player, he has enjoyed strong finished in AJGA events and played in the U.S. Junior Amateur a year ago.

While Stewart and Komline won't step on a course in blue and gold until the fall of 2008, the 2007-08 Buccaneers are quickly approaching the start of their spring season, which will begin on Jan. 28 at the PING Arizona Intercollegiate.
