JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (Oct. 16, 2010) - ETSU senior Paul O'Kane (Castledawson, Northern Ireland) fired a 3-under par 69 to lead the Bucs on day two at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate at The Ridges on Saturday.
Junior Devin Komline (Dorset, Vt.) continued his solid play as of late, after recording a solid 2-under 70 on Saturday. Komline is the highest of the Bucs on the leaderboard as he sits in a tie for 18th. He is at +2 overall.
ETSU shot a 291 team score on Saturday, which was 14 shots better than their score yesterday. The Bucs remain in 11th position as they sit at +20 overall.
Kent State (571) leads the field by four shots. Virginia carded Saturday's best score, 278, to climb into second place at 575, with UNC Wilmington (578), Chattanooga (582) and Wake Forest (582) rounding out the top five.
Kent State's Mackenzie Hughes and Missouri's Jace Long share the 36-hole individual lead at 6-under-par 138.
ETSU junior Peter Wilson (Locust Valley, N.Y.) recorded his second straight 74 and is tied for 29th along with O'Kane at +4.
Patrick Spraggs (Rochford, England) and Spencer Lawson (Raleigh, N.C.) each shot 78s to round out the scoring for the Bucs.
ETSU will begin their final round tomorrow at 9:50 a.m. on the 10th tee. They will be paired with Coastal Carolina and Michigan for the second straight day.
