JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 30, 2014) – The latest Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings were released on Tuesday and the ETSU men’s golf team was ranked No. 35, while junior Adrian Meronk (Wroclaw, Poland) was listed 33rd in the individual rankings.

The Bucs, who won the Inverness Intercollegiate last week, posted a fifth-place showing at the Jack Nicklaus Invitational on Monday.

Meronk has led the Blue and Gold in the first two tournaments of the season. The Buccaneer junior won his first collegiate tournament at the Inverness Golf Club after firing an even-par 213, while Meronk tied for sixth at the Jack Nicklaus Invitational.

ETSU is the highest ranked team in the Southern Conference, while also being ranked ahead of the likes of Oklahoma State (37th), Michigan (41st) and Arkansas (48th).

The Blue and Gold return to action next week as ETSU looks to defend its title at the Wolfpack Invitational. The two-day event begins Monday, Oct. 6.
