JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 19, 2014) – A week after cracking the top-100 of the World Amateur Golf Rankings for the first time in his career, ETSU junior Adrian Meronk (Wroclaw, Poland) moved to 87th in the world as the new rankings were released on Wednesday.
Meronk, who is Poland’s highest ranked amateur ever, climbed six spots this week after entering the top-100 at No. 93 last week.
The Buccaneer golfer finished his fall season two weeks ago and won’t be in action again until Feb. 22 when ETSU heads to San Juan for the Puerto Rico Classic. This fall, Meronk led the Blue and Gold in all six tournaments, while capturing medalist honors at the Inverness Intercollegiate and Wolfpack Intercollegiate. Overall, Meronk posted five top-10 finishes and 14 of his 17 rounds were of par or better.
