NORMAN, Okla. (Nov. 19, 2014) – The first edition of 2015 Palmer Cup rankings were released on Wednesday and ETSU junior Adrian Meronk (Wroclaw, Poland) was ranked second for Team Europe.

The top six golfers in the final ranking – from both the United States and Europe – shall be among the 10 individuals selected to compete in the Palmer Cup, which will be held at Rich Harvest Farms from June 12-14.

Using Golfstat’s NCAA Player Ranking as a base, the Palmer Cup Ranking awards bonus points for wins and high finishes and a negative bonus for poor finishes. Meronk’s score was .9864, while Florida State’s Rowin Caron from the Netherlands topped the European team at .9884.

Overall, five ETSU golfers have been represented in the Palmer Cup – Keith Nolan (1997), Chris Wisler (2000), Rhys Davies (2004-07), Gareth Shaw (2007-08), and Rhys Enoch (2010).
