ETSU will be sending four individuals to Statesboro, Ga. that did not make the trip to California for the spring opener. Ben Carberry (Bonnybridge, Scotland) will be making his ETSU debut this weekend, while Campbell Wolf (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) will compete in his second event of the season. Wolf finished T-21st in the Scenic City Collegiate to open the fall campaign. Austin Carter (Kingsport, Tenn.) will be making his season debut for the Bucs. Joining the trio of Buccaneers will be fellow teammate Sam Espinosa (Pedrena, Spain) who competed in the Maridoe Invitational (Oct. 18-20, 2020).

Carter and Espinosa competed in Georgia Southern’s individual tournament last season with Espinosa securing a 9th-place finish for his first career Top-10 finish, while Carter finished 25th for his best finish of the season.

About the Tournament
This will be the third consecutive season that the Eagles have put on their individual tournament, previously known as the GS Individual Collegiate.

The tournament is played at the Georgia Southern University Golf Course, a par-72, 6,900-yard course. The greens are TifEagle, while the tees and fairways are Tifway 419. The coursed opened in 2013 and is located six miles south of campus.

The construction of the golf course included the renovation of the 8,000 square foot clubhouse, an addition of a 10,000 square foot maintenance and golf cart storage facility, and a complete practice facility. The clubhouse houses a multi-purpose/meeting room, a café, golf shop, and administrative offices. The practice facility includes a 30-station practice range, chipping green, and a 10,000 square foot practice putting green.
