(Oct. 8, 2021) – Having not competed since Sept. 7, the ETSU Men’s Golf team is eager to return to live competition and what better way to do it than the 23rd Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate. The Bucs will play host to their coveted event, welcoming 15 different schools into town for the event at Blackthorn Club at the Ridges.

(Sept. 19, 2021) – The ETSU Men’s Golf team aims to carry its final-round momentum at the Marquette Intercollegiate into this week’s tournament as the Bucs will compete in the Scenic City Collegiate for the second consecutive season. The tournament will be played at The Honors Course in Ooltewah, Tenn., a course that the Blue & Gold finished runner-up at a season ago.


Bucs Catapult up Leaderboard for 4th-Place Finish

HARTFORD, Wisc. (Sept. 7, 2021) – The ETSU Men’s Golf team concluded its season debut on a high note on Tuesday afternoon in the Marquette Intercollegiate at Erin Hills Golf Course in Hartford, Wisc. The Bucs carded a final-round 13-under-par (275) to jump six spots up the leaderboard into solo 4th at 19-under-par (845) for the event.


Davies Leads Bucs in Day Two at Erin Hills

HARTFORD, Wisc. (Sept. 6, 2021) – Round two of the Marquette Intercollegiate has come and gone and the Bucs have advanced one spot on the leaderboard after posting an 8-under-par (280) second round. ETSU is currently slated 10th on the team leaderboard, while Mats Ege (Kristiansand, Norway) is positioned in a tie for second, just one stroke off the lead.

HARTFORD, Wisc. (Sept. 5, 2021) – The 2021-22 ETSU Men’s Golf season began on Sunday with the opening round of the Marquette Intercollegiate at Erin Hills Golf Course in Hartford, Wisc. The Bucs are one of 17 teams in the field and have themselves positioned 11th through the first 18 holes of play after an opening round of 2-over-par (290).

NORMAN, Okla. (July 30, 2021) – Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars for NCAA Divisions I, II, III NAIA, and NJCAA have been announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Friday afternoon. For the second consecutive year, Shiso Go (Kanagawa, Japan), Trevor Hulbert (Orlando, Fla.) and Jack Rhea (Jonesborough, Tenn.) earned recognition as a trio. This is the third consecutive All-America Scholar award for Hulbert.

Meronk Heading to Tokyo

Now, Meronk has broken another barrier as it has been announced that he will be the first-ever Polish golfer to compete in the Olympics, doing so in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics on July 29 – August 1, 2021 (July 28-31 in ET).


Power Earns First PGA Tour Victory

ETSU Lands 249 Student-Athletes on SoCon Honor Roll

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (July 15, 2021) – For the second consecutive day, the ETSU Athletic Department received recognition for its student-athletes, with the Southern Conference Honor Roll being announced on Thursday afternoon. The Bucs placed 249 student-athletes on the 2020-21 list, just shy of the program record 262 selections last year.

NORMAN, Okla. (July 13, 2021) – Former ETSU Men’s Golfer Shiso Go (Kanagawa, Japan) has been tabbed to the PING All-American Honorable Mention squad on Monday afternoon. This is the first All-American nod for the Japan native during his collegiate career. Go represents the 38th overall All-American in ETSU history and second in as many seasons for head coach Jake Amos.
