The team went through conditioning in the morning and practiced in the afternoon, but had to move indoors due to inclement weather. The Bucs, under first year head coach Scott Calabrese, have exhibition games against King College at home on Aug. 19 and at UNC Asheville on Aug. 23 before the season opener against Appalachian State at home on Aug. 29.
"Everyone is in great shape," Calabrese said. "There is definitely a lot of talent in this group, and it was good to see them all together for the first time. Hopefully we can come together as a team in these few practices we have before the season starts."
