TAMPA, Fla. (June 18, 2012) – ETSU men’s soccer freshman Emmanuel Wilson (Memphis, Tenn.) recorded a hat trick for the Knoxville Soccer Academy on his way to being named a Super-20 League top performer.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 11, 2012) – ETSU men’s soccer head coach Scott Calabrese announced the signing of the program’s 2012 recruiting class on Wednesday, welcoming Dalton Guzman (Knoxville, Tenn.), Joao Victor Ramalho (Monte Santo, Brazil), Henrique Novaes (Vinhedo, Brazil) and Jeremy Saad (Sydney, Australia) to the Buccaneer program.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 3, 2012) – Meetings with four teams inside the top 50 of last season’s final RPI – including a home match against perennial ACC powerhouse and 2007 national champion Wake Forest – highlight the 2012 men’s soccer schedule which ETSU head coach Scott Calabrese released on Tuesday.
COLUMBUS, Ohio. (March 23, 2012) – After being drafted by the Montreal Impact in the MLS Supplemental Draft in January, ETSU men’s soccer senior Aaron Schoenfeld (Knoxville, Tenn.) became the first Buccaneer to sign an MLS contract on Friday by signing with the league’s Columbus Crew.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 6, 2012) – ETSU men’s soccer head coach Scott Calabrese released the Buccaneers’ 2012 spring schedule on Tuesday, with the team scheduled to play eight friendlies starting March 17 at home against Tusculum.
NEW YORK (Jan. 17, 2012) – ETSU men’s soccer senior forward Aaron Schoenfeld (Knoxville, Tenn.) made Buccaneer history on Tuesday afternoon, becoming the first ETSU student-athlete to be drafted by the MLS (Major League Soccer) after the League’s Montreal Impact chose Schoenfeld with the first pick in the second round of the Supplemental Draft.
KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Dec. 9, 2011) – Senior forward Aaron Schoenfeld (Knoxville, Tenn.) made Buccaneer history on Friday, becoming the first member of the ETSU men’s soccer team to be named a NSCAA All-South Region First Team selection.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 13, 2011) - Scott Harrison headed in an 89th minute goal for the FGCU Eagles, defeating the ETSU men's soccer team 1-0 in the Atlantic Sun Championship final on Sunday afternoon at Summers-Taylor Stadium.

(Nov. 7, 2011) – The Atlantic Sun Conference released its 2011 men’s soccer All-Conference awards, on Monday, with senior Aaron Schoenfeld (Knoxville, Tenn.) and sophomore David Geno (Kingsport, Tenn.) selected First Team All-Conference, sophomore Itode Fubara (Ogbema, Nigeria) selected Second Team All-Conference and Simon Schroettle (Rain, Germany) landing on the A-Sun’s All-Freshman Team.

MACON, Ga. (October 22, 2011) – Carl-Oscar Andersson scored his first goal of the season at the worst time for the ETSU men’s soccer team, as the Bucs conceded a 79th-minute goal and fell, 1-0, to Mercer on Saturday night at Bear Field.
MACON, Ga. (October 21, 2011) – The ETSU men’s soccer team takes to the road for the last time in the 2011 regular season, as the Buccaneers travel to Macon, Ga. on Saturday to face Mercer before heading back to Johnson City for a Monday night matchup against ACC foe Clemson.

The Bucs face off against ODU on Friday, September 9, at 7 p.m. before taking on the Tribe on Sunday, September 11, at 12 p.m.

(September 6, 2011) – Starting off the season with a record of 3-0-0, the ETSU men’s soccer team has soared into the national spotlight and is now ranked No. 19 in the Soccer America top 25 poll, as released on Tuesday. The Bucs are also ranked No. 25 by Goal.com and are receiving votes in the NSCAA/Continental Tires top 25.

The No. 3 spot is the highest ranking the Bucs have earned in program history – their previous high being No. 6 – as ETSU jumped four positions from No. 7 in last week’s poll.
HUNTINGTON, W. Va. (September 4, 2011) – Shutting out its third consecutive opponent, the ETSU men’s soccer team battled through the rain to defeat Marshall, 2-0, on Sunday night inside Sam Hood Field.
HUNTINGTON, W. Va. (September 3, 2011) – It took 109:17 for the ETSU men’s soccer team to defeat No. 24 UNC Greensboro earlier this week, and on Sunday the Bucs will ride their 2-0-0 start into Huntington, W. Va. to take on Marshall inside Sam Hood Field at 7 p.m.
GREENSBORO, N.C. (August 31, 2011) – With 43 seconds remaining in double overtime, junior Alesi Osorio (Austin, Texas) fired home the game-winning goal as the ETSU men’s soccer team defeated No. 24 UNC Greensboro, 1-0, on Wednesday night inside the UNCG Soccer Stadium.
GREENSBORO, N.C. (August 30, 2011) – Having won its season opener against Presbyterian over the weekend, the ETSU men’s soccer team will head to Greensboro, N.C. on Wednesday to take on the No. 24 UNC Greensboro Spartans inside the UNCG Soccer Stadium at 7 p.m.
KANSAS CITY, Kan. (August 30, 2011) – Following its, 3-0, defeat of Presbyterian over the weekend, the ETSU men’s soccer team entered to NSCAA/adidas regional rankings on Tuesday, being voted No. 7 in the South Region.
MACON, Ga. (August 29, 2011) – With his three point performance against Presbyterian on Saturday, senior Aaron Schoenfeld (Knoxville, Tenn.) received Atlantic Sun Player of the Week honors from the league office on Monday.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (August 27, 2011) – In front of nearly 1,000 fans on opening night the reigning Atlantic Sun champions put on a show, blanking Presbyterian, 3-0, on Saturday inside Summers-Taylor Stadium.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (August 26, 2011) – The last time the ETSU men’s soccer team competed in Summers-Taylor Stadium the match ended with the Bucs hoisting their first Atlantic Sun championship trophy in program history, and for the first time on Saturday, the Buccaneers will reenter their home turf for the 2011 season opener against Presbyterian at 6 p.m. as the reigning Atlantic Sun champions.
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (August 15, 2011) – The ETSU men’s soccer team came up one goal shy, 1-0, of the No. 22 Virginia Cavaliers on Monday morning at Klockner Stadium. The Bucs and Cavs played a 30 minute first half followed by a 45 minute second in the exhibition contest.
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (August 14, 2011) – Through 38 minutes of action the ETSU men’s soccer team led No. 22 Virginia, 2-1, in an exhibition game, but then the rain came. After delaying the game for nearly two hours, coaches and officials decided to cancel the game and play two 30 minute halves tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Aug. 13, 2011) – Exactly 38 weeks had passed since the ETSU men’s soccer team made its first NCAA Tournament appearance in program history and on Thursday evening, student-athletes, coaches and trainers all reported to Summers-Taylor Stadium to begin the first day of practice and their quest towards another NCAA Tournament run.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (August 11, 2011) – With the start of the fall sports season on the horizon, the ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics held Media Day for soccer, volleyball, and cross country on Thursday as members of the media met with the head coaches and players of the programs inside the ETSU/MSHA Athletics Center.
MACON, Ga. (August 3, 2011) - On Wednesday, the Atlantic Sun Conference released its men's soccer preseason honors and awards which included two Buccaneers being named to the Preseason All-Conference Team and one being named Preseason Player of the Year.
