MACON, Ga. (Oct. 31, 2014) - ETSU will conclude regular season play Saturday, Nov. 1 as the Bucs visit league-leading Mercer at 8:00 p.m.
GETTING UP TO SPEED
The Buccaneers (7-8-1, 3-5-1) suffered a narrow 1-0 setback to UNCG Tuesday, Oct. 28.
ETSU outshot the Spartans, 22-13, in the match; however, the Bucs couldn't find the back of the net.
The Bucs are now locked in as the No. 5 seed for next week's Southern Conference Men's Soccer Championship and will take on fourth-seeded UNCG in Greensboro Saturday, Nov. 8.
Redshirt sophomore Joao Ramalho (Monte Santo, Brazil) is pacing ETSU's offense, averaging 0.63 goals per game, a mark that ranks 17th in NCAA Division I. Ramalho has recorded 10 goals and two assists on the year.
15 other ETSU players have found the scoring column, including Wojas and sophomore William Nordenstrom (Linkoping, Sweden), who have recorded eight and seven points, respectively.
