GREENSBORO, N.C. (Nov. 7, 2014) - ETSU and UNC Greensboro will go toe-to-toe for the third time this season as the teams face off in the SoCon Men's Soccer Championship Quarterfinals Saturday, Nov. 8 at 7:00 p.m., in Greensboro, N.C.
GETTING UP TO SPEED
After enjoying a three-match unbeaten streak from Oct. 15-21, the Buccaneers (7-9-1) ended the regular season with three consecutive losses, suffering setbacks to Furman, UNCG, and Mercer.
Redshirt sophomore Joao Ramalho (Monte Santo, Brazil) is pacing ETSU's offense, averaging 0.59 goals per game, a mark that ranks 20th in NCAA DI. Ramalho has recorded 10 goals and two assists on the year.
15 other ETSU players have found the scoring column, including Wojas and sophomore William Nordenstrom (Linkoping, Sweden), who have recorded eight and seven points, respectively.
Jeremy Saad (Sydney, Australia), a senior co-captain, and Nordenstrom lead the Bucs with three assists each.

ETSU and the Spartans (5-11-2) squared off twice during the regular season, with UNCG coming away with a pair of wins.
In the teams' final meeting of the regular season, ETSU outshot UNCG, 22-13, in Johnson City, including four shots that hit the post in the first half; however, the Bucs could not find the back of the net.
