(Oct. 17, 2021) – The 2021 Louisville Invitational featured some bright spots for the ETSU Men’s Tennis squad as Yusuf Khamis (Cairo, Egypt) and Francisco Lamas (Maracay, Venezuela) captured the B-Draw doubles title with three consecutive wins. In all, the Bucs sent four competitors to Louisville, including Juan Sebastian Zabala (Guayaquil, Ecuador) and Juan Lombisano (Buenos Aires, Argentina).

TULSA, Okla. (Oct. 5, 2021) – The ITA All-American Championship was short-lived for ETSU redshirt-sophomore Dimitri Badra (Maracay, Venezuela).
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 5, 2021) – The East Tennessee State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics held its induction ceremony for the 2020 Hall of Fame class last Friday, Oct. 1, inside the Martin Center.
TULSA, Okla. (Oct. 2, 2021) – After a one-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ITA All-American Championship is back in action hosted by Tulsa in Tulsa, Okla. The tournament will begin today (Oct. 2) and will conclude on Sunday, Oct. 10. ETSU’s Dimitri Badra (Maracay, Venezuela) will be representing the Bucs in the ITA All-American Championship.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 25, 2021) – The ITA Regionals came to a halt for the Buccaneers Men’s Tennis team in Knoxville, Tenn. on Saturday, Sept. 25. The Bucs were led by Frazier Rengifo (Cali, Colombia) who reached the round of 16 in both the singles and doubles draw before being knocked out. Rengifo was paired with ETSU newcomer Hugo Lobo (Toulon, France) in the doubles bracket.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 23, 2021) – The ETSU Men’s Tennis team will be competing for the second weekend in a row, this time taking part in the 2021 ITA Regional Championship in Knoxville, Tenn. The ITA Regional event will run from Sept. 23-27 and will be played at the Goodfriend Tennis Center.
CARY/WILMINGTON, N.C. (Sept. 19, 2021) – The ETSU Men’s Tennis team concluded its first fall event of the season as the Bucs completed their participation in both the Duke Bonk Invite and the Seahawk Invitational. The Bucs sent four student-athletes to Cary, N.C. (Duke), while placing four more in Wilmington, N.C. (UNCW).
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 17, 2021) – With the ETSU Men’s Tennis team gearing up for fall action this weekend, current Buccaneer Dimitri Badra (Maracay, Venezuela) and former Buccaneer great Sander Gille (Kuringen, Belgium) will be representing their countries in the Davis Cup.
