Competing in the No. 3 slot, Serrano fell in a tough match to Filip Kricka, 7-6, 7-6, after experiencing back spasms and problems with his knees, arms, and wrists.
"I believe we played an extremely solid match. We didn't get to play much on the courts where we were supposed to play but the guys came out and preformed extremely well. It's a solid conference win and I hope that we can continue to play this way for the rest of the year," said head coach Yaser Zaatini.
