Bucs show diversity and holiday cheer in reading of “Twas the Night Before Christmas”

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Dec. 17, 2014) – The ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics wishes its Buccaneer fans across the world Happy Holidays!

The Bucs displayed their holiday spirit and diversity in the reading of “Twas the Night Before Christmas.” The book was broken into 58 lines and student-athletes from each team are represented by reading in their native language. Seventeen languages were spoken throughout the reading – Arabic, Catalan, Czech, English, French, German, Greek, Icelandic, Italian, Latvian, Malay, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish and Welsh – while 23 countries were represented.
